Chocolate Protein Doughnuts
65g plain flour
40g Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein
25g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
60ml melted coconut oil
1 large egg
4 tbsp maple syrup
50g smooth peanut butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
(Optional) any decorations like chocolate chips
Everyday should be filled with doughnuts, especially when they are chocolate protein ones - melt in your mouth delicious!
Preheat oven to 180/160°c fan and lightly grease a doughnut tin.
To a bowl, add all the doughnut ingredients and mix until a thick batter forms.
Spoon evenly between the 6 doughnut rings and place in a preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Meanwhile make the frosting by mixing together all the frosting ingredients in a small bowl.
Once the doughnuts are cooled, spread the frosting over the top and add any extra decorations you desire like chocolate chips.
